Monday I bought the Canon EOS 400D with 17-85mm USM IS lens. I love the camera! I just can't compare it with my previous camera, this one is simply a thousand times better. The quality of the pictures is much better, colors are more beautiful and the manual settings are easy to adjust. Of course there's that little downside that it's quiet a big item to carry around, especially with the battery grip and when I'll carry extra lenses. But that's just a small sacrifice I'm willing to take.

Bart and I went to the Ardens for a few days, we rented a small house in the little village Durbuy. It was lovely to walk around and experiment with my camera. I took lot's of pictures, maybe I'll upload some of them, but it might take a while, because this computer is very slow.

Oh I also published my first edition of "Campus Merelbeke", a magazine for the employees of the Faculty of Veterinary Science at Ghent University. A lot of evenings were spent, working on "my little masterpiece", but I'm satisfied with the result. It also gives me an excuse to go walk around the faculty with my camera, you get to see some spectacular things and cute little animals in the animal hospital.
